Is it better Sir with your previous intake. Hm power gains iwith a velocity. Intake . Btw why are u not using a weapon r intake manifold. Saw all your videos but wondering why no intake manifold upgrade. As u mentioned 180 whp is it par with a stock fd2r or still day n night difference tia

Hey brother, I'm a big supporter of yours. I always come to check out your build. I got the Injen Cold Air Intake for my 9th Gen R18 over a year ago. It works very well & I just suggest getting the hydro shield also so you don't hydro lock the motor. I've hit 2 big puddles of water on rainy days and it wasn't good, so the hydro shield is a must. In cooler temperatures here during our Fall, Winter & early Spring, the car runs fantastic. If you ever get rid of the SRI and want to go CAI, I think it would be a good option for you. @@CivicR18Story

Do you have a plan to change your intake manifold? I’ve seen the weapon R intake manifold for honda r series engine and based on the description on their website, it can potentially increase the whp around 8-10 whp.
There's a company I found called CNC Innovations who makes 2 Intake Manifolds for the R18. Not sure how legit of a company they are, but from their website the parts look like quality pieces. If anyone knows, let me know. Just over $1000.00 each, but if the quality is better than the Weapon R, might be worth it.

I like the R18's variable length intake manifold. It can increase torque both low and high rpm 👌

@@v.eusebio2556Si throttle is better, Mini air filter for reducing positive pressure under the piston.
Is this better for a stock throttle body r18?
The temperature there is too high. You must find a way to get cold air to the filter.
Great, thank you. I installed a pipe to catch air from the front of the bumper into the engine bay. It helped a little.

I think the OEM's are suitable because they have a adjustable valve in the intake manifold.

also noticed your voltage controller I have one on my fd civic but the car dies every once a while with it hooked up does that happen to you ever?
My country is quite hot when running, intake air temp around 30-40°C
